Compensation resources and salary research disclose executive compensation employee, executive bonus, compensation and benefits for chief executive officer, and other executive salaries to be above average wages...far above all of us, even the average salary worker at the White House is paid far less.

CEO salary

If your mother always told you to marry a doctor or lawyer she may have given you bad advice if you were seeking a well paid spouse. She should have advised you to marry an executive officer of a corporation.

The average family physician in the United States brings in around $150,000 year and a lawyer will make about the same. The president of the United States makes $400,000 with some nice perks to boot, but the big payola comes from an executive officer of a corporation.

So if you are unemployed and thinking of a career change or are an opportunistic husband hunter- why not raise the bar...CEO's are the way to go baby!

Well, I have some thinking to do here. I am currently envisioning about 400,000 for myself. When I began my envisioning process, seemed like a good amount. Certainly well below that 100 million mark. I like information like you have provided because it makes me realize that as big as I think I am thinking, I'm still thinking relatively low. Brings up lots of interesting stuff.

The problem is having to wear a suit and tie. I'd rather keep building or renovating their houses!

I know what you mean PDog! Suit and tie...yuck. Of course here in California dressing up means you are wearing pants and shoes. LOL

Ethel-I would imagine it is the same everywhere sadly.

Gus- I know the title is a teeny bit misleading as it is meant to be my attempt...as poor as it is...at a sarcastic view of the whole corporate shabang :))
