I asked this question about two years ago. "Can I make money writing online?" The answer is a definite "yes". There are many opportunities out there to make money writing online copy and content. The biggest problem with writing for an online audience is finding a worthwhile place to spend your time. One place that can become a nice part-time income is writing for Yahoo Voices. Yahoo Voices pays performance views-

Yahoo Voices, at minimum, pays what they call "performance views". They pay writers based on the number of times a person reads their content. One of the performance pay level criteria is your "level". There are ten levels you can reach when writing for Yahoo Voices.

"The base rate of Performance Payments for Yahoo Voices is $1.50 for every one thousand page views, and this rate can climb to $2.00 as you publish more content and receive more traffic," according to Yahoo Voices.

Example: A Contributor with 40,000 monthly page views and a Clout Level of 8 will receive a $64.00 in performance payments ($1.60 x 40).

Another way to earn income with Associated Content is claiming assignments that are worth anywhere from $2.50 to $20.00 (or more). Most assigned articles will be around $5 to $10 each. These articles will generally earn performance views too. On any given month, if you are a good writer, you can receive hundreds of dollars a month in assignments.

Just like Hubpages, you can write about your interests. Yahoo Voices is stricter with their postings, however. Someone will review your content so that spam and nonsense articles do not get past the editors.
